Flo Peycelon is a versatile musician, accomplished both as a very experienced teacher and a busy freelance violinist. She enjoys teaching students from all ages and of all abilities. She is the visiting Violin tutor at the University of Kent and teaches privately from home. She also runs the Folkestone Camerata all-day workshops for amateur string players of all ages.

Flo is a regular feature of the local musical scene. She has led the Folkestone Symphony Orchestra since 2000. She regularly plays with the Amberley Orchestra which accompanies the Folkestone Choral Society; she leads the Dover Choral Society orchestra and plays in the Ashford Choral Society Orchestra. She is also the leader of the Oare String Orchestra.

She regularly free-lances as a function violinist and an orchestral player, with the Festival Chamber Orchestra and various other orchestras and chamber groups throughout the South-East. She has given numerous solo and chamber music recitals in the UK and abroad. Her solo performances to date have included the Bach Double Violin concerto, the Mendelssohn Violin Concerto, the Beethoven Violin Concerto and Vaughan Williams’ Lark Ascending, and very recently both Winter and Summer from Vivaldi’s Seasons.
