Sacconi Festival 2018

The Sacconi Quartet were back once again with their full on weekend of chamber music and guest artists! 2018 highlights included the brilliant London Bridge Trio joining the Sacconis in Schoenberg’s ‘Verklarte Nacht’, South African cellist Abel Selacoe and his band Chesaba brought the sounds of his home nation to the Quarterhouse with an eclectic mix of instruments and vocals and we featured composer Graham Fitkin in our extended Friday concert with harpist Ruth Wall. Plus, eminent cellist Moray Welsh helped round off the Festival with Schubert’s String Quintet in C major.
