Sacconi Festival 2023

For the SCMF 2023 (19-21 May)  the Sacconi Quartet invited the Royal College of Music Chamber Orchestra, Tom Poster (piano), Alice Zawadzki (voice & violin) and Fred Thomas (piano and percussion) to join them in Folkestone for their 16th Annual Chamber Music Festival. Programme included Caroline Shaw’s ‘Entr’acte’, Schubert’s ‘Death and the Maiden’ Quartet, Steve Reich’s ‘Clapping Music’, Barber’s ‘Adagio for Strings’ plus music from Arvo Part, Bartok, Jonathan Dove and Robert & Clara Schumann. They also hosted a brilliant concert by our Folkestone Young Strings Orchestra.
