Canterbury Cantata Trust, a registered charity specializing in community singing and singing and health projects, established the Sing to Beat initiative in 2018, which is based at The Workshop in Tontine Street in the Creative Quarter in Folkestone.

Sing to Beat Parkinson’s has now established a network of more than 30 groups across the UK, and Sing to Beat has recently partnered with the NHS and the University of Derby to establish Sing to Beat COVID – a programme looking at the potential benefits of singing for people experiencing Long COVID symptoms.
