PHILIP CASHIAN talks about his music, particularly the two new pieces to be premiered this year in Folkestone, by Rosie Middleton (mezzo) and Louise McManagle (cello) on Friday 15 April and by Trio Mazzolini on Friday 6 May.  

Philip Cashian’s music has been performed by many orchestras throughout the world, including by the London Symphony Orchestra, the BBC National Orchestra of Wales, the BBC Symphony Orchestra and the London Sinfonietta. He is Head of Composition at the Royal Academy of Music in London.
