Young Strings Workshop #1 – 6/7/21
Thank you to everyone who came and joined in our first workshop for our Young Strings project!
Ben Hancox of the Sacconi Quartet lead the children in a fun and inspiring workshop where they worked on a brand new composition by local eminent composer John Woolrich. We were seriously impressed with the talent and dedication of these brilliant young musicians, many of whom are the pupils of local string teachers Flo Peycelon and Ellen O’Dell, who were also on hand and ready to help through the tricky passages! The children will continue to work through the specially written pieces over the summer and come together for another workshop in the new term.
